+St. Lambert Parish Rummage, Book, and Bake Sale will be Fri. & Sat., July 20th & 21st from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sun., July 22nd from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Clothing, books, kitchen & bath items, holiday decor, furniture, children's toys, man cave items and more will be available. Lunch will be served on Friday and Saturday.

+Holy Smoke Car Show: Support Seminarian Education, by attending the 3rd Annual Holy Smoke Car Show on Saturday, July 21st from 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. at O’Gorman High School produced by the Diocese of Sioux Falls and the Knights of Columbus. Admission is free to this family event! See cool cars, eat some Looks Meat Market burgers, meet the seminarians, and watch them “Chase for the Chalice” as they duke it out on their trikes. Have the kids play on the inflatables in the fun zone, bid on some awesome items in the silent auction, or just come for the Saturday evening Mass, followed by a Pig Roast Dinner made by Big Rig BBQ. +Holy Innocents Ministry (HIM) Benefit Dine and Donate: Please support HIM by dining out at the Barrel House (4701 E. 54th Street) on Monday, July 23rd. +The St. Vincent de Paul truck will be in our parking lot taking donations Fri.-Sun., July 27th-29th for anyone who wants clean out their closets or who have household items they want to donate. The truck will be unlocked for you to drop donations in.

+Rachel’s Vineyard One-Day Retreat: This strictly confidential one-day retreat (Sat., July 28th) offers a safe, loving, non-judgmental environment for men, women, mothers, fathers, and grandparents who have been affected by abortion. +Samaritan’s Feet needs volunteers on Saturday, August 18th from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. to assist families who come for socks and shoes. +Grieving the Loss of a Spouse: Directed by Dr. Marcie Moran, this non-denominational program is for adults who have lost a spouse and are trying to cope with the pain of separation and loss. Role change and loneliness are secondary losses which can complicate the grieving process. The program will offer assistance in coping with this change and making healthy readjustments. +Eucharistic Ministers are needed to bring Communion to patients at Avera McKennan Hospital. This is a unique and rewarding ministry. To become a Eucharistic Minister in the hospital, you may contact Avera McKennan Volunteer Services at 322-7897 or leave a message at the Catholic Chaplains office at 322-7948.

+Avera Heart Hospital is currently looking for individuals to serve as Eucharistic ministers on Fridays for its patients. This commitment would take about 90 minutes or less and can be somewhat flexible during the day. If you are interested and would like further information, please contact Fr. St. Vincent de Paul Conference Rummage Sale/Vendor Fair

Our St. Vincent de Paul Conference will be hosting a Rummage Sale/Vendor Fair on Friday , July 27th from 12-6 p.m. & Saturday, July 28th from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. A 10-foot space with a table will cost $10. Comfort by Candlelight: An Evening with Kathy Troccoli

Award-winning singer and speaker Kathy Troccoli will sing, share encouragement, hope, truth, and love Monday, July 16th at 7 p.m. at St. Michael Parish. Everyone is invited. Our St. Katharine Drexel Parish Vocations Committee invites you to pray for vocations, especially for those in our parish who are considering the vocation of priesthood, religious life, or the permanent diaconate. Please join our Vocations Committee in our Chapel for Eucharistic Adoration for the intention of vocations on the first Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and a Rosary for vocations each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m.

 St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on    the 3rd Friday evening of each month. Four people are needed to come at 5:30 p.m. to   help  make and serve supper and 3 people are needed to bake goodies for dessert. The    sign-up sheets for August and September are available in the Gathering Space.
