+Lorie Line returns to The Abbey of the Hills on Fri., May 17th at 7 p.m. She’ll be playing brand new music from a new album called “Rock Star,” along with sharing her favorite music and stories from 30 years of touring. The Abbey’s venue is smaller and more up-close and personal. Come enjoy the beautiful Abbey church acoustics combined with the musical talent of Lorie Line. +St. Michael Catholic Cemetery will be holding an Open House on Sunday, May 26th from 1-3 p.m. This is a time to visit the cemetery and see what new things are going on, to ask any questions you have, or to talk about pre-need, The Perpetual Care Flower Fund. All are welcome.

+Bishop Paul Swain will celebrate Memorial Day Mass at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery at 9 a.m. on the cemetery grounds. Mass will be held under a tent. Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish is the host parish for the Mass. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 a.m. The cemetery also is selling potted flowers. flower urns, and statues of our Mother Mary. Coffee and cookies will be served after Mass. Please bring your lawn chairs.

+Grieving the Loss from Homicide: Presented by Dr. Marcie Moran, this 6-week program (June 4th-July 16th) is for adults who have lost a loved one to the tragic and senseless crime of murder. This loss has a unique intensity that requires special and educational assistance toward adjustment. We’ll meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each evening at Catholic Family Services (523 N. +The 23rd Annual Bishop’s Charity Fishing Tournaments are scheduled for Monday, June 3rd in Big Stone City at Lakeside Park and Monday, June 10th in Pierre at the Oahe Downstream Recreation Area (located 5 miles north of Pierre). We’ll be blessed to have twelve of our seminarians present at these tournaments, so this would be a great opportunity to meet these fine men. +Youth Grief Camp: Catholic Family Services will be offering a Grief Camp for youth and their families at Broom Tree Retreat Center beginning Tues., June 11th at 6 p.m. through 11 a.m. on Thurs., June 13th. This 2-day camp will include fun activities, discussion, and support. The Grief Camp is non-denominational and is offered free of charge. +The Diocesan Special Needs Ministry is excited to offer an opportunity for youth (K-12) with special needs to encounter Christ at a Totus Tuus Day Camp. The camp is Friday, June 21st from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Michael Parish (SFSD). Parents can register their kids at tuus-day-camp/.

+Nacel Open Door is seeking host families for French students (boys and girls ages 14-17) who will arrive at the Sioux Falls Airport on Sat., June 22nd for a 4-week cultural experience. +Walking Rosary is held on the first Friday of every month at St. Michael Cemetery (rain or shine) beginning at 10 a.m. Please gather at the Chapel on the west side of the office. When the weather doesn't cooperate, we stay in the Chapel.

 St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on    the 3rd Friday evening of each month. Four people are needed to come at 5:30 p.m. to help make and serve supper and 3 people are needed to bake goodies for dessert. The    sign-up sheets for June-August are available in the Gathering Space.
