+Prayer Rally & Walk for Love & Life: This 22nd annual event will be held on Tue., Jan. 22nd at Sioux Falls First at 6:30 p.m. The rally will include ecumenical prayer and speaker Deacon Glenn Ridder, MD, giving a witness on pro-life efforts. For those able, the walk will proceed to the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood for prayer. Fellowship with refreshments will follow. For more information, please contact Fr. +St. Nicholas Parish (Tea) will host their Annual Chili Cook-Off/Feed and Live Auction Saturday, January 26th from 6-8 p.m. Cost is a free-will donation and the auction will begin at 6:30 p.m.

+NEW: Aquinas Lecture: Join us Thursday, Jan. 31st at 7 p.m. in the Cathedral Parish Hall for the 1st Aquinas Lecture as we explore the Catholic intellectual life. Our speaker is Joseph Bottum, Director of the Classics Institute at Dakota State University. He’ll present “The Life and Thought of John Paul II.” Light refreshments will follow. No cost to attend. +Surviving Divorce Program: Our winter session begins Monday, Feb. 4th. Sessions are held on Monday evenings from 6-8 p.m. Cost of $45 per person includes a “Personal Survival Guide”, refreshments and all materials for 6 weeks. Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition: The St. Katharine Drexel and St. Michael Parish Knights of Columbus Councils are sponsoring their annual KC Free Throw Competition for boys and girls ages 9-14, as of Jan. 1st. St. Katharine Drexel Knights of Columbus 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off and Pie Auction: Join us Saturday, January 19th at 6 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room for this fun event! Our St. Katharine Drexel Parish Vocations Committee invites you to pray for vocations, especially for those in our parish who are considering the vocation of priesthood, religious life, or the permanent diaconate. Please join our Vocations Committee in our Chapel for Eucharistic Adoration for the intention of vocations on the first Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and a Rosary for vocations each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m.

 St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on    the 3rd Friday evening of each month. Four people are needed to come at 5:30 p.m. to   help  make and serve supper and 3 people are needed to bake goodies for dessert. The    sign-up sheets for January and February are available in the Gathering Space.

You are invited to join members of our parish at 3 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays in front of Planned Parenthood (6511 W. 41st Street) to pray for a greater respect for all human life from conception to natural death. We pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary and would love to have you join us.
