+Grieving the Loss of a Parent or Sibling: Directed by Dr. Marcie Moran, this 6-week program (Sept. 17th-Oct. 22nd) is for Adults grieving the loss of a parent or sibling. They play significant roles in our lives and this loos requires a significant adjustment. The group will meet Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Catholic Family Services 523 N. +Mark your calendars and join us on Wednesday, Sept. 18th for the Catholic Men's Business Fraternity Men's Breakfast at St. Joseph Cathedral, featuring keynote speaker Troy Jones, President of Orion Financial Corporation in Sioux Falls. This event begins with Mass at 6:45 a.m. followed by breakfast and the keynote address in the Parish Hall. +The 24th Annual Bishop’s Charity Hunt is scheduled for Mon. and Tues., September 23rd & 24th at Horseshoe “K” Ranch near Kimball, SD. This is a truly memorable outing that includes lodging, breakfast, lunch, dinner, a social, trap shoot, hunting, and pheasant cleaning. An additional bonus is fellowship with Bishop Swain, daily Mass, and interaction with many priests of our diocese. All proceeds from this event benefits the Newman Catholic Campus Ministry in our diocese. +The Surviving Divorce Program begins Tuesday, Sept. 24th. Sessions are held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Cost of $45 per person includes a “Personal Survival Guide,” refreshments, and all course materials. +The Alpha Center is hosting a Walk For Life on Saturday, Sept. 28th beginning at 9 a.m. The event features a 2-Mile Walk, a 5K Run/Walk, and a Celebration of Life. This event is family-friendly and registration is required. The first 50 individuals to register will receive a free gift! +St. Michael Parish Pub Trivia Night/Fundraiser will be Saturday, Sept. 28th from 7-10 p.m. Gather your friends for a night of fun and compete for prizes. Build your own trivia table of 8 or we will build one for you. $10 per seat with a cash bar/food and other cash games available. +Walking Rosary is held on the first Friday of every month at St. Michael Cemetery (rain or shine) beginning at 10 a.m. Please gather at the Chapel on the west side of the office. When the weather doesn't cooperate, we stay in the Chapel.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Sioux Falls has accepted a challenge and is asking for your help. Please help us by making a donation of NEW socks, underwear, or bras for children and teens ages 3-18. Your donation will help us stock the Axtell Attic where referrals are made by six community agencies for children who are homeless or in a low-income family. Our Donation Drive will run from Thursday, September 5th through Monday, September 16th. There will be a box in the Gathering Space where you can place your donations. Thank you for your generosity!

 St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on    the 3rd Friday evening of each month. Four people are needed to come at 5:30 p.m. to help make and serve supper and 3 people are needed to bake goodies for dessert. The    sign-up sheets for September-November are available in the Gathering Space.
