+High Priest of the Land: the Role and Importance of a Diocesan Bishop: With the arrival and ordination of a new bishop, many people naturally wonder about what exactly a bishop does. Dr. Chris Burgwald will explain the role and unpack the importance of a bishop for the people in his diocese. Join us at St. Thomas More Parish in Brookings on Saturday, Feb. 15th from 9-11 a.m. This talk is free and open to all. 

+Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Conference invites everyone to join us for supper at the Pizza Ranch in Tea (801 E. Brian Street) on Monday, Feb. 17th from 5-8 p.m. This is a fundraiser with 10% of proceeds returned to SVdP. Proceeds benefit families in our community requesting assistance for food, rent, utility bills, etc. during times when life's challenges have depleted their resources. St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on the 3rd Friday evening of each month. Four people are needed to come at 5 p.m. to help make and serve supper and 3 people are needed to bake goodies for dessert. The sign-up sheets for March, April, and May are on the table by the Parish Office.

You are invited to join members of our parish at 3 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays in front of Planned Parenthood (6511 W. 41st Street) to pray for greater respect for all human life from conception to natural death. We pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary and would love to have you join us.
