Meet a Member

Jake and Amy Kusmak have been members of St. Katharine Drexel Parish since July 2005.  In joining St. Katharine Drexel Parish, they have found a parish where they feel like they can grow with God and other parish members.  “We are so happy here, and we know that we can make a difference in this parish.” 

Jake and Amy moved here from Omaha after graduating from Creighton University in 2000.  Amy worked as a Public Defender in Minnehaha County for 2 years and now works as a director at Junior Achievement of South Dakota. Jake worked as a full-time pharmacist for 3 years at PharMerica Pharmacy.  He now works part-time as a pharmacist while enjoying his 3rd year of medical school at the University of South Dakota.
