Healing at St. Katharine Drexel Parish on Thursday, February

+Feast of Faith: Thursday, February 9th, Fr. Dana Christensen
will speak on “Praying with the Church: Exploring the Riches
of the Liturgy of the Hours.” Feast of Faith is held at Cherry
Creek Bar & Grill. The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. and
lasts an hour; come early and order a meal and beverage
from Cherry Creek’s menu and stay afterward for
conversation & fellowship.

+The Office of the Marian Apostolate will show the movie
“Our Lady of Ephesus: Mary’s House” on Thursday, Feb. 9th
at 7 p.m. in the Diocesan Pastoral Center.

of 41st Street, across from Roosevelt High School) on the 1st, 10th,
and 15 of each month at noon. Prayer makes a difference!
                        The Welcoming Committee is looking for
                     
  parishioners who are willing to act as a “parish
                      
 buddy” to new members. If you enjoy meeting     
                      
 new people, want to make a difference in someone’s
life and are interested in welcoming new members to our parish,

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Can you give one hour a week to the Lord? Below are open hours and hours
with only one adorer at St. Michael Parish Chapel, 26th Street & Marion Road.

Sunday: 10-11 p.m., 11 p.m.-midnight

Monday: 1-2 a.m., 2-3 a.m., 4-5 a.m., 5-6 a.m., 9-10 a.m., noon-1 p.m., 2-3 p.m.

Tuesday: midnight-1 a.m., 1-2 a.m., 2-3 a.m., 4-5 a.m., 9-10 a.m.,
11 a.m.-noon, noon-1 p.m., 9-10 p.m.

Wednesday: 4-5 a.m., 9-10 a.m., noon-1 p.m.

Thursday: midnight-1 a.m., 1-2 a.m., 2-3 a.m., 4-5 a.m., 11 p.m.-midnight

Friday: midnight-1 a.m., 1-2 a.m., 2-3 a.m., 5-6 a.m., 6-7 a.m.

                         More items are needed for our St. Katharine Drexel
                      Parish Food Bank. Some items that are particularly
                     
 needed are: canned meat & vegetable soups &
                     
 stews, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter & jelly, kids'
                     
 breakfast cereals, sugar, flour, dry instant milk,
                     
 canned fruits & vegetables, juice, granola bars,
      diapers & formula, but any non-perishable food is welcomed.   
                                    The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed in
                                    
 front of Planned Parenthood every Friday
                                    
 at 3 p.m. Please join Fr. Joe and other St.
                                    
 Katharine Drexel parishioners as they
                                    
 come together at the hour of mercy to pray
                                    
 for mercy for the clinic employees and the
                                    
 mothers and fathers who have chosen
                                    
 abortion.

Please join us at the Planned Parenthood Clinic on the 1st, 10th,
and 15th of each month at noon to pray for an end to abortion.

                            St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at
                          
  the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on
                           
 the 3rd Friday evening of each month. 3 people
                           
 are needed to come at 5:30 p.m. to help make
                           
 and serve supper and 3 people are needed to
                           
 bake goodies for dessert. Sign-up sheets for
April-June will be in the Gathering Space in March.

St. Michael/St. Katharine Drexel Parish Knight of Columbus Council will
meet on Sunday, February 12th at the Pizza Ranch on W. 41st St. Join us at 7 p.
m. for fellowship or come for the meeting at 7:30 p.m.  We will be planning our
Lenten fish fries for the parishes. All members and men interested in the K of
